Veteran Counter-Strike coach Robert “RobbaN” Dahlstrom has announced that he’s stepping down as FaZe Clan’s coach to pursue his “next challenge.”
Thirty-eight-year-old RobbaN started playing Counter-Strike back in the 1.6 days. Since 2016 the Swedish pro has been with FaZe Clan as a coach and manager throughout the years. He was there when FaZe won ESL One New York 2017 and then PGL Major Antwerp in 2022.
Now, RobbaN is looking at the next stage of his career.
RobbaN tweeted earlier today that he has decided it’s time to “move on to the next challenge.” It wasn’t an easy choice but he felt it was the “right way to go.”
RobbaN said that he’s proud of all the players he’s coached throughout his career and is happy to look back at all of the trophies they lifted together. He added that it’s been a “wild ride” and he will cherish his memories for life.
After thanking his family, friends, players, and staff, RobbaN gave a small hint at what may be in store for his career going forward.
He said: “There is a lot to look forward to with CS2 around the corner and I will be sharing more news soon.”
For now, it’s still unclear what RobbaN is planning to do next. Fans called him a legend and wished him luck on his next stage.
