Valorant console beta is finally out in the wild, open for everyone to install. However, Riot has a special reward for those who played the game during closed beta.

On June 14, Valorant became available on the console for a few lucky players who signed up for early access. During this time, players enjoyed several new updates and tested the identical game on controllers. After more than a month, Riot opened the beta for players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Starting July 27, everyone should be able to download the Valorant console and open beta.

So, what would set those who had the privilege of playing the game earlier than others apart? Riot has a special reward in store.

How to get the Valorant console beta card

If you played Valorant on any platform between June 14 to July 27, you are eligible for the free Valorant console beta card. Just log into your account to equip it in-game.

Valorant console beta card has a simple art of Viper looking over her shoulder. It also doubles as a banner for the loading screen, like all other cards in Valorant. While, art-wise, it’s nothing we haven’t seen before, this banner signifies that you were there when Valorant was released on console for the very first time.

There is likely no end date for this offer. The card should have already been added to your account, so you can log in at any time without rushing.

The great part is that both PC and console players are eligible for it. The only condition is that the player must have played the game during the closed beta. If you did, you should expect a free card in your inventory the next time you log into Valorant on any platform.

Players will be able to keep this card long after Valorant is out of beta.
