League of Legends is about to get groovy as the new Space Groove skin line will hit Summoner’s Rift quite soon.

In a recent Public Beta Environment (PBE) preview, Riot gave a full look at eight new Space Groove skins. The skins will include cosmetics for seven different champions, with a special prestige edition for Lulu. The other champions included in the new skin line are Blitzcrank, Nunu, Nasus, Rumble, Lux, and Samira. The skins will represent the champions in ways that are never seen before, through a goofy space theme.

The Space Groove skins were already teased for back in January in Riot’s 2021 live stream. In this live stream, the Space Groove Blitzcrank skin was revealed but no one knew that it would include this many champions. The overall theme is centered around space and a lot of neon colors. For champions such as Rumble and Nasus, the usual champion model has been swapped out and taken over by small furry animals.

For Nasus, he is controlled by a small dog under his helmet, while Rumble and Blitzcrank are now controlled by small cat-looking creatures. The skins will be the start of a completely new thematic, that might get more attention throughout the year. Furthermore, the skins will arrive alongside a new Space Groove event. This event will include the featured game mode One-for-All and more. To top the event will likely be with a new champion release, of the rumored AP top-lane fighter. It’s expected that this champion will also receive a Space Groove skin, but that hasn’t been revealed yet.
