PowerOfEvil will likely replace Bjergsen on TSM for 2021 LCS season
Team SoloMid might have found it’s new mid laner for the 2021 LCS season.
The team is going to sign Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage according to ESPN’s Jacob Wolf.

The report comes just a few days after
PowerOfEvil announced that he will be a free agent for the 2021 season, something that has gotten teams to make an offer. The German mid laner has seemingly been a coveted LCS player over the past days, with both TSM and Evil Geniuses being interested.
According to Wolf, PoE has notified TSM that he will sign with the team when the player free agency window opens on November 16. If the report is true, it means that TSM will likely announce its new mid laner as soon as it’s allowed.

has declined his player option, making him a free agent ahead of the 2021 season, sources told ESPN.
A return to FlyQuest is not totally off the table, but would need to come with a new deal. PowerOfEvil will enter a free agency beginning Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. ET.

PoE comes off of a great season in the LCS, where he and the rest of FlyQuest secured two second-place finishes. The team also made it to the 2020 World Championship for the first time in the organization’s history but didn’t manage to make it further than the group stage.
Because of the
recent retirement of former TSM mid laner
Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg, other LCS mid laners have increased in value as TSM has been looking for a successor of Bjergsen. It’s some big shoes to fill, but PoE has the individual skill and experience needed to do so.
It has also been rumored that TSM has been in talks with G2 Esports’ bot laner Luca “Perkz” Perković , who wants to join a new team and return to the mid lane. G2 reportedly wants a $5 million buyout for Perkz, which has been hard for even LCS teams to afford.
