Valorant streamer and 100 Thieves content creator Kyedae “Kyedae” Shymko has been diagnosed with cancer. She shared the heartbreaking news with her fans on Friday.

Twitch streamer Kyedae rose to popularity playing Valorant. But some also know her as Tyson “TenZ” Ngo’s partner, thanks to their cute viral TikToks. Kyedae has garnered a massive following over the years, so her recent health update has shocked the gaming community worldwide.

Taking to Twitter, Kyedae revealed that she had been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a type of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow.

“I’ve recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (cancer). I’ll be starting up treatment very soon. With that being said, I’m not too sure how my body will react to the treatment, so I do apologize in advance if my stream schedule isn’t consistent! Stay safe,” Kyedae said

Her tweet resulted in an outpour of positive messages from worldwide. Notable gaming personalities sent their best wishes and quick recovery messages. However, most of the community is heartbroken and worried.

It is natural to be concerned if someone you know has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), as it is a severe medical condition. However, it’s important to remember that AML is treatable cancer, and many people are able to achieve remission and live long and healthy lives with proper treatment and ongoing care.

Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) can be treatable in young patients, but the prognosis and success of treatment may depend on several factors, such as the subtype of AML, the patient’s overall health, and the stage of the disease at the time of diagnosis.

More details about Kyedae’s condition are unknown, but the internet wishes her the best. The streamer has notified that her schedule may change due to her health condition and treatment, but she will continue to stay in touch with the fans, it seems.
