Pop singer Ariana Grande coming to Fortnite with Rift Tour
Pop singer Ariana Grande coming to Fortnite with Rift Tour
Popstar Ariana Grande is the next star to grace Fortnite with a concert named the Rift Tour.
Fortnite had various popular musicians and singers bring their talent to the Fortnite realm, but Ariana Grande will be the biggest name so far to enter the virtual universe. The star singer shared a dramatic teaser of her glamorous outfit from the Rift Tour on Twitter.
Rumors of Ariana arriving in the Fortnite universe have been swirling, but nothing had been set in stone. The developer has now confirmed that the “7 rings” star is indeed the next singer to be added to the Icon Series. Grande will bring her musical journey into Fortnite on August 6. Given the scope of the event, Epic Games will allot five showtimes over three days so that fans around the world can catch the Rift Tour.
While the event will surely be a treat to attend, it’s also rewarding. Players who log in between August 5 at 10 a.m. ET to August 9 at 10 a.m. ET will receive a Rainbow Cloudcruiser Umbrella, the Skye up High Loading Screen and a Rift Tour-themed Banner. It’s recommended to arrive in Fortnite 60 minutes before showtime, as the Rift Tour Playlist goes live 30 minutes before each show.
Ariana Grande Icon Series enters item shop

Fan-made Ariana costumes are pretty famous among the Fortnite community, but players will finally be able to don shiny popstar outfits. Ariana Grande will enter the item shop a few days before the concert. Players can get their hands on the skin on August 4 at 7 p.m. CT.
The Ariana Grande-inspired character will likely be one of Fortnite’s most sought-after items. The singer’s skin will see characters donning her iconic ponytail while wearing a glittery dress. The best part is that players will be able to swap between the standard look, a Rift Tour-themed outfit, and a classic sparkling concert outfit.
Her adorable yellow Piggy Smallz Back Bling will also be available to shop from August 4. Every Icon skin comes with a bundle, so there will surely be more cosmetics to go alongside its skin. Though Epic did not specify a price, high-end skins like Ariana’s cost around cost 1,500 V-Bucks. The bundle may carry a hefty price tag of 2,800 V-Bucks.

Fortnite collaboration in danger after generative AI revelation
Zachary Roberts
Fortnite has crossovers with so many different things. If Epic Games wants something in the game, it usually happens. Whether it's Darth Vader, Spider-Man, Batman, Patrick Mahomes, LeBron James, Sabrina Carpenter, or Khaby Lame, anything the developers want usually ends up in the game. It's rare for a collaboration to end up cancelled, but there's real danger of that happening right now. Vampire Survivors was supposed to have a collaboration ...
