Sure, you’re an Imane “Pokimane” Anys fan, but would you pay $500k for a charity gaming session with her? It turns out there’s someone who will.

Pokimane’s rise to fame didn’t happen overnight. Instead, she has seen consistent and durable growth on Twitch, thanks to gaming streams and highlight content on YouTube. In a decade of streaming on Twitch, she has amassed over 9 million loyal followers.

Connor Colquhoun’s charity auction for the Immune Deficiency Foundation has become a new way for Pokimane’s fans to show just how far they’d go to play a game with her.

Pokimane charity game session has fans in a never-ending bidding war

The $500k donations are likely fake or fraudulent since the website continues to try to erase the bidder from the list.

Connor has made several contributions to IDF’s cause. His efforts have in part been due to VTuber Iron Mouse, who suffers from primary immunodeficiency and motivates Connor to raise money to help others like her.

His most recent charity event is supporting the same cause and will feature five auctions. Some of the items up for grabs include a chance to play a game with Ironmouse, a signed copy of the Elden Ring poster by Hidetaka Miyazaki, and a diamond YouTube play button.

But, fans and notable gaming personalities alike want to pay top dollar for a chance to play a game with Pokimane.

So far, names like Faze StableRonaldo, Richard “Banks” Bengtson, Ludwig Ahgren, and more have made big donations, but no one could outbid a regular fan who goes by the name harryvibes.

He offered a massive donation of $500k to play a charity game with Pokimane, which was soon removed from the website. This was likely due to concerns about the legitimacy of the money. Both Connor and Pokimane were in shock after registering the highest bid.

“WTF is going on? The donations were capped and I don’t know if this is real or what,” Pokimane said on her Instagram story.

Currently, the highest bid is 34k by the same bidder, but his persistence to beat everyone else may force the auction to accept the humongous amount that he keeps offering.
