Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have introduced a new Gym Leader, the electric streamer-themed Iono.

The highly anticipated Pokémon Scarlet and Violet keep revealing new content about the Paldea region and its habitants. In the most recent trailer, players got to meet Iono.

Who is Iono?

Iono is the leader of Levincia’s gym where she trains Electric-type Pokémon. Iono is a streamer and influencer in Paldea with thousands of followers and fans. Iono dresses with a combination of yellow, lilac, and blue with hair accessories that resemble a pair of Magnemite.

In the trailer, Iono invites people to guess, who’s her Pokémon pal? She describes it as squishy with an “easygoing vibe”. According to Iono, a cute Pokémon with two lumps on its head that get mistaken for eyes. She goes on to describe its power. This Pokémon’s body expands and contracts to generate electricity in its belly. This will be, without a doubt, a never seen before Pokémon.
