Pokemon GO has officially announced the introduction of Dynamax forms for four new Pokémon. Falinks, Scorbunny, Sobble, and Grookey will be getting their Dynamax forms starting on October 1. This addition comes as part of the new season, “Max Out.” Players will now be able to participate in Max Battles, offering a more strategic, turn-based experience in contrast to the usual raid system. Additionally, the upcoming event is expected to offer new opportunities for trainers. Good news for those looking to expand their collections and enjoy a fresh approach to battles.

The new Dynamax forms will bring additional excitement to Pokemon GO. Trainers will encounter Scorbunny, Sobble, and Grookey in one-star Max Battles, while Falinks will be available in three-star Max Battles. Max Battles introduce a new battle mechanic, where players must collect Max Particles to enter these challenges. These particles can be gathered by interacting with Power Spots or simply walking, offering a more engaging way to participate.

Max Battles differ from traditional raids, as they are turn-based and require players to adopt a more strategic approach. Teams of up to four trainers can join these battles, each with three Dynamax forms of Pokémon. Trainers who successfully catch these Dynamax variants will also be able to Dynamax their Pokémon during future battles, adding another layer of depth to gameplay.

October events and future additions

In addition to the Dynamax forms, several other exciting events are lined up for October. The month kicks off with a Community Day featuring Sewaddle on October 5, followed by the Galarian Expedition event from October 4-11. Trainers can look forward to the debuts of shiny forms for Zamazenta and the Galarian birds during the expedition. Meanwhile, September wraps up with Shiny Zacian making its first appearance in the Legendary Heroes event, which runs until October 1.

These upcoming activities are set to provide Pokémon GO trainers with numerous opportunities to engage, battle, and expand their collections, making October a month full of exciting additions and challenges.
