We finally know when Persona 6 is releasing, thanks to a source close to Atlus.

We didn’t see many updates or game releases from Atlus in 2023, which isn’t like them. On November 17, the developer launched Persona 5 Tactica, but that was that. However, players have been eager to know more about Persona 6, the highly-anticipated spin-off of the popular game franchise.

While Atlus is still tight-lipped, a credible leaker has dropped a rough timeline for the Persona 6 release date.

When is the Persona 6 release date

Persona 6

According to credible leaker MbKKssTBhz5, Atlus is targeting a 2025 launch. However, the exact date is still unknown.

It’s likely that the game will be formally announced at The Game Awards next month, but it’s still tough to say if they’d even announce it in 2023. Atlus may choose to lift the curtain on their highly-coveted title in 2024 in one of their personal events. In any case, Persona 6 is going to be a hit, and Atlus is confident about it.

According to the company president, Haruki Atami, Persona 6 could sell as 5 million copies in its first year. This is a big target, but Atlus plans on achieving it by selling Persona 6 on multiple platforms simultaneously. The developer has taken the same approach for their recent release Persona 5 Tactica, which is currently available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

More information will likely be revealed soon since the cat is already out of the bag. Atlus may officially announce the launch year, at least, to sate the fans of the Persona franchise.
