
The Overwatch League Grand Finals location has been announced and fans in Anaheim, California will have proverbial front-row seats.
The fifth Overwatch League Grand Finals will be taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center, the same building used for BlizzCon each year. The postseason will take place on October 14 through November 4, including an online regional Countdown Cup play-ins leading into the double-elimination playoff bracket. Fans will be able to attend the first in-person Grand Finals in three years.
The playoffs will include the top six teams from the regular season of the West Region and the top three teams from the East Region. During the regular season, each region competes amongst each other to get the most League Points to earn the coveted spot.
The other three teams will be determined in the Countdown Cup Play-In that’s taking place in Anaheim October 14 and 15 in the East and then October 21 and 22 in the West. Here are the teams fighting for a spot:

Once the 12 playoff teams are finalized, they will be seeded into the double-elimination playoff bracket based on their League Points, including the performance at Anaheim.

From the double-elimination playoff bracket, two teams will emerge. They will compete in the Grand Finals on November 4, live from the Anaheim Convention Center.
Fans will be able to attend the Grand Finals by purchasing a ticket. They are currently unavailable but details will be coming soon on the official league website.
The champion of the fifth season of the OWL will take home $1 million. The runner-up will get $500,000. There is $2.55 million total on the line for the 12 teams competing at the Grand Finals event.
