A silly profile picture change from Olof “olofmeister” Gustafsson has led to some equally silly search engine nonsense.

Early on June 21, FaZe Clan rifler olofmeister swapped his profile picture with an edited image of semi-retired Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player Mikhail “Dosia” Stolyarov in an Astralis jersey. The change appears to be a simple joke with no deeper meaning behind it.

Dosia himself responded in good humor. He replaced his own Twitter profile picture with a skillfully photoshopped image of olofmeister wearing Gambit’s signature polo jersey. Unlike olof, search engines haven’t caught on to Dosia’s new look yet.

While the profile picture swap is clearly a joke, search engines don’t have a sense of humor. Currently, anyone Googling olofmeister will see Dosia wearing an Astralis kit, sponsors and all.

While the face swaps are funny enough, both players also hid jokes in the jerseys. olofmeister’s choice of an Astralis jersey seems completely random, as Dosia has never played for Astralis. Rumors about olofmeister joining Astralis have circulated in the past, so it could be a reference to those. Dosia opted for Gambit, the organization he had the most success with in CSGO. Neither player has officially worn the edited picture’s jersey.

What is Dosia famous for in CSGO?

Dosia is a Russian CSGO player who played at the highest level in both Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. His biggest championship was at PGL Major Kraków in 2017, where Gambit earned a $500,000 prize over Immortals in the grand finals. Dosia is also famous for his salacious nickname, which is usually filtered to “X God.”

Dosia’s most famous Counter-Strike play also took place at PGL Major Kraków. While saving against an eco round from Immortals, Dosia threw an explosive grenade into the back corner of Inferno’s A site pit. The bomb won’t deal full damage to players hiding in the corner, making it a common place for the T players to hide. Dosia’s grenade did just enough damage to put Lucas “LUCAS1” Teles and Lucas “steel” Lopes below the damage threshold while posing no risk to himself.
