OG Night likely to include reveal of new OG Dota 2 roster
OG is once again collaborating with Red Bull on a new video project entitled “OG Night”.
OG is inviting fans to join the organization in celebrating its past success and discussing its future plans with a talk show that will happen live in Berlin, Germany. OG Night will take place the day after the premiere of True Sight: The International 2019 Finals, a documentary that will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at OG’s win over Team Liquid in the grand finals of The International 2019.
OG Night will feature the “whole OG fam,” which may or may not include members of both its Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams. The live Q&A session is scheduled to take place January 29 at 8 p.m. CET or 2 p.m. EST.
The team also hinted that it will reveal a new Dota 2 roster on OG Night.
New OG roster likely to be revealed at OG Night
Last year, OG added to its already huge fan base with its performance at The International 2019. The team had a flawless run at the event with a strong group stage showing followed by a fairly easy trip through the upper bracket. The team had fans marveling at their Dota 2 skills, imitating their unique hero builds. and laughing as they griefed one another.
The team took an extended break from competition, which saw the players dedicate that time towards building a sister team in OG Seed and branching out into CSGO.
Fans are excited to see the Dota 2 team return to action but unfortunately, OG has recently announced the departures of three members from its roster. Only Johan “N0tail” Sundstein and Topias Miikka “Topson” Taavitsainen remain with the team as competitors. OG teased on its website that announcements related to the new roster will be made at OG Night, making it a must-watch event for fans of the organization.
Fans that are interested can watch the event on the official Red Bull Twitch channel, or circle back to WIN.gg following the event.
