The 2022 LCK season is shaping up to be an exciting one for NS RedForce as the team has rounded out its roster with two star players.

In a recent announcement, it was discovered that NS RedForce will conclude its roster with former T1 top laner Kim “Canna” Chang-don and DWG KIA bot laner Jang “Ghost” Yong-jun. The two young stars will be the last additions to the NS RedForce roster which looks like a real threat in the upcoming season.

Besides the two last signings, NS RedForce has also picked up former Gen.G mid laner Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong, Afreeca Freecs jungler Lee “Dread” Jin-hyeok, and former Liiv SANDBOX support Lee “Effort” Sang-ho.

With all these new signings, NS RedForce will enter the 2022 LCK season with a completely fresh roster of five players who didn’t play together last season. This will make NS RedForce an interesting case as it’s unknown how well the team will do in practice.

One thing is for sure, which is that the team on paper looks really strong with plenty of potentials to become a top team. Most eyes will likely be on Bdd who has been a contender for the best mid laner in Korea throughout the 2021 season after making it to the 2021 World Championship semifinals.

In the bot lane will be former world champion and defending LCK champion Ghost, who will look to prove himself on a team that isn’t DWG KIA. Ghost has often been overlooked on his former team full of stars, so his time on NS RedForce could be where he breaks through as an individual.

NS RedForce is entering the next season after securing a fourth-place finish in the 2021 LCK Summer Split. It wasn’t enough for the organization to qualify for Worlds, so that will likely be the big goal of 2022 with this new roster.

NS RedForce will debut its new roster when the 2022 LCK Spring Split starts early next year.
