New Marvel game Black Panther, Captain America possibly leaked

A brand new Marvel game will reportedly feature Black Panther and Captain America during World War II.

In August 2022, it was reported that Uncharted creator Amy Hennig was collaborating with Skydance New Media and Marvel Entertainment to create a new Marvel game. Little was known about the game at the time but the game was said to be revealed during the D23 Expo on September 9.

Ahead of the presentation, however, fans got a sneak peak at the Marvel game through a leaker. Marvel insider MCUStatus said they heard the new Marvel video game will be set in World War II and feature Captain America and Black Panther facing off against the forces of Hydra.

Marvel fans and gamers alike responded to the leaks with hope, saying that it would be “incredible” if true. Black Panther is also rumored to have a game of his own in development. EA is reportedly working on an open-world video game starring the iconic hero. It’s no surprise to see Black Panther starring in multiple video games with Wakanda Forever just around the corner.

What is the new Marvel game from Skydance?

So far, not much is known about the game except for the starring characters. The style of gameplay is still a mystery as well as the storyline, release date, and platforms.

More information may come during D23 Expo. There will be a Disney and Marvel Games Showcase at 1 p.m. PT. The presentation will feature content from Disney & Pixar Games, Marvel Games, 20th Century Games, and Lucasfilm Games.

The presentation will feature new reveals like LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Disney Dreamlight Valley. Disney also hinted at a “sneak peak” from Skydance New Media, saying it was a “Marvel ensemble game.” Fans will likely be homing this game is more Spider-Man and less The Avengers.
