Riot Games is bringing out its signature skin line for the Lunar New Year, with Firecracker skins making a return alongside a brand new Porcelain Protectors line that takes good cosmetics being like fine china to a new level. Finally, the Crystal Rose line which recently took over Wild Rift will be making a return with more skins for the PC version of Summoner’s Rift.

The two returning skin lines of Firecracker and Crystal Rose are each themed around a celebration, though slightly differently. Firecracker celebrates the Lunar New Year while Crystal Rose is themed around the white-tie aesthetic of a fantasy wedding.

New Porcelain Protector LoL skin line coming to PCs

The newest skin line to be added to League of Legends is the Porcelain Protector line, which takes a different spin on the fine china aesthetic of Cafe Cuties. Porcelain Protector skins depict their champions as ethereal porcelain beings, with white and blue finery replacing various aspects of their in-game model.

The collection includes a humanoid Kindred, much to the chagrin of many Kindred fans, as well as a Prestige option for Lux. Ezreal, Lissandra, and Amumu all get their own offerings. Each of which seems to have a ghostly, spiritual companion added to their recall animation and other pieces of their kit, with even Kindred having yet another ghost pet with a pale blue koi fish.

Finally, a series of Firecracker skins is being made available for Jarvan IV, Sett, Diana, Ziggs, and Tristana. These red and gold-tinted skins ring in the Chinese and Lunar New Year and generally sport pretty eye-popping effects with plenty of fireworks on their recall.

Finally, the new Crystal Rose skins will bring a new look to Akshan and Janna, with a Withered Rose Elise skin for a darker angle on the bright skinline. All of these skins have made their way to PBE and will likely release with patch 12.2
