Fortnite, known for its collaborations, is set to release a new pair of Crocs inspired by the game’s iconic elements. Fans of the battle royale game will soon be able to express their love in a fashionable and comfortable way. This exciting new release is expected to drop in October. Each pairs’ price is said to be steep, but it offers a unique spin on the beloved rubber clogs.

A look at the Fortnite x Crocs collab

The partnership between Fortnite and Crocs is not entirely surprising, given Fortnite’s history of collaborations with brands across various industries. The upcoming Fortnite themed Crocs appear to be heavily inspired by the game’s visuals, particularly its famous Battle Bus. The first pair, revealed through official channels, features a purple and yellow color scheme, mimicking the Battle Bus’s iconic design. Another pair reportedly based on the character Peely is also in the works, although details about this version have not been fully unveiled yet.

What makes these Crocs special is the addition of Fortnite-themed Jibbitz, the small rubber charms used to decorate the shoes. These Jibbitz will feature elements from the game, such as the Supply Llama and Supply Drop, allowing fans to personalize their footwear with familiar in-game items.

Pricing and availability

This new and exciting release are expected to drop on October 29. Each pair of the Fortnite Crocs will retail for $70, which is nearly double the cost of standard Crocs. While this price may seem steep, it reflects the exclusive nature of the collaboration and the added Fortnite-inspired accessories. The shoes also include unique features like a back bling element, reminiscent of the in-game accessories, allowing wearers to store small items in the Crocs themselves.

This collaboration marks another example of Fortnite’s ability to expand its brand beyond the game. For the fans of the game, this allows players to take a piece of their battle royale experience with them into the real world.

Fortnite is no stranger to big crossovers, and the Crocs collaboration adds to a long list of partnerships. As Chapter 5 Season 4 continues with its Marvel-themed event, fans can expect more surprises both in-game and in the form of real-world merchandise. With the release of these Crocs, Fortnite continues to show that its brand power extends well beyond the virtual battlefield.
