Avatar: The Last Airbender is an upcoming fantasy television series produced by Netflix. The show is based on the animated series produced by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko for Nickelodeon.

Avatar: The Last Airbender Plot
Avatar: The Last Airbender follows the story of Aang, the last living member of the Air Nomads. Aang also happens to be the Avatar, a bender with the ability to control all four elements.
Aang, who has been in stasis for 100 years, wakes up and finds a very different world. The world is now under the control of the Fire Nation, a violent imperialist nation that is attempting to destroy all other nations. Alongside Katara and Sokka, two siblings from the Water Tribe, Aang must bring balance to the world and stop the Fire Nation’s advances.
Aang and company are being pursued by Prince Zuko, an exiled crown prince of the Fire Nation. His goal is to capture the Avatar and regain his honor.

Gordon Cormier as Aang
Cormier is a 13-year-old actor of Filipino descent. Despite his young age, he already has several TV credits, including a groundbreaking role in the series The Stand.
Dallas Liu as Prince Zuko
Liu is a martial artist who made his acting debut in 2009 when he played Jin Kazama in Tekken. He also appeared on Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
Kiawentiio as Katara
Kiawentiio is a Canadian actress from Akwesasne, a reserve on the Ontario-Quebec-New York border. She made her acting debut in Netflix’s hit show Anne with an E.
Ian Ousley as Sokka
Ousley is a Canadian actor who previously had small roles in shows like Physical, 13 Reasons Why, and Young Sheldon.
