Charles “MoistCr1TiKaL” White is no longer streaming on Twitch.

Moist is known for his hot takes and hilarious commentary on YouTube, where he posts videos of him talking about a variety of relevant gaming and culture topics. But a lot of the content from those videos actually comes from his streams on Twitch.

Unfortunately, Twitch has now terminated his contract.

Is MoistCr1TiKaL leaving Twitch?

On August 15, Moist announced in a video titled “Goodbye Twitch” that his contract was terminated. He explained that the decision was “amicable” and that both parties agreed.

According to MoistCr1TiKaL, Twitch had allowed him to terminate his contract early despite having “a lot of time” left to go. This would allow him to have the flexibility to stream on other platforms, something he has expressed for a while.

“Twitch understood and gave me that firm pat on the ass and said, ‘You go get ’em, champ.’ So I’m no longer exclusive with Twitch,” Moist said.

Is MoistCr1TiKaL signing with Kick?

In the same video, Moist clarified that he hasn’t signed a contract with any other platform, including Kick or YouTube. It’s currently unclear what his streaming plans are, but he did stream on YouTube soon after the contract ended.

MoistCr1TiKaL opened up about his issues with Twitch’s strict contract. He said it was the “lowest possible offer” compared to every other streaming platform with contracts, and it didn’t even cover the operations of his esports organization, Moist Esports.

Not only that, but the contract was very strict and had a lot of requirements. Moist said he had an issue with having to “pump ads” into his stream to make them worth the effort.
