MoistCr1TiKaL calls out OTK for keeping Mizkif investigation report private

Popular streamer Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo was accused of covering up sexual assaults within OTK along with his girlfriend Maya Higa in September of 2022. Now, Charles “MoistCr1TiKaL” White is questioning the validity of the investigation by OTK.

After Mizkif was accused of covering up his friend’s sexual assaults, OTK announced that it was doing an investigation into the matter. On January 1, 2023, OTK publicly stated that the investigation had concluded, showing no evidence supporting any allegations against Mizkif.

This didn’t sit right with YouTuber Charles “MoistCr1TiKaL” White.

MoistCr1TiKaL says OTK investigation should have been made public

During a recent live stream, Moist stated his frustrations with the official report not being made public. He argued that private and personal information could be crossed out but that the actual findings from the investigation shouldn’t be a secret.

“I think it’s a huge disservice to take something so public and then privatize the information that was found. It makes it very hard to take their word for it and trust everything was done fairly,” Cr1TiKaL said.

The reactions to the investigation have been mixed. Some people have supported OTK’s decision to keep the report private while others are skeptical of its validity.

Fans of OTK have explained that the law firm involved is a third-party and wouldn’t misrepresent its findings. Others in the community, however, felt that personal information could be redacted to allow people to see the evidence. While the law firm can’t lie, OTK could have lied to the law firm.

The community was completely torn on the matter, but one fan wrote: “There is one thing I believe for sure: People shouldn’t dismiss the entire third-party investigation simply because OTK didn’t release the gathered evidence. People shouldn’t immediately assume guilt if a report is never released. I personally believe the results of the investigation simply because I don’t think a law firm would want to damage their own public reputation for Mizkif and his content organization…”

Streamers have been conflicted about the situation as well. Ludwig previously said on stream that he doesn’t believe that Mizkif purposefully covered up sexual assault but that there was a “lack of empathy and ignorance” surrounding the situation.
