Minecraft Legends Standard vs. Deluxe edition: Which one should you buy?

Minecraft Legends is here! If you are looking to buy this game and don’t know the difference between the Minecraft Legends standard vs. Deluxe edition, we have an answer for you.

Minecraft Legends is the fifth spin-off of the 2011 Minecraft. It is an action strategy game that can be played cooperatively or in a competitive mode. The story takes place in the Minecraft universe, the player must stop the corruption that is spreading across the Overworld, caused by an invasion by the piglins from the Nether.

The events of the game are, as the name suggests, a legend shared through generations. The players get to be the hero and rewrite history.

Minecraft Legends, Standard vs. Deluxe Edition

Minecraft Legends is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. There are two editions of the game.

Minecraft Legends Standard Edition includes the base game and launcher. This version goes for $39.99. Xbox users will be happy to know that the game is available on the Xbox Game Pass.

Minecraft Legends Deluxe Edition includes everything in the Standard Edition, plus a Deluxe Skin Pack DLC. The price goes up to $49.99. The Skin Pack consists of six in-game skins, and it sells on its own for $14.99, the Standard edition is required.

If you were to buy the Standard Edition and then the Skin Pack, the price would be $54.98. It is more expensive to buy both items, save $5 and purchase the Deluxe Edition instead.

Is Minecraft Legends going to be multiplayer?

Minecraft Legends has two multiplayer modes for players to enjoy. The first mode is the campaign mode, players can complete it with a friend or on their own.

The second multiplayer mode is a Versus mode, where players compete against each other.
