Alienware is returning as the official PC partner for the LEC’s 2021 season.

“We are excited for the new LEC season to kick off,” Alienware global marketing director Bryan de Zayas, said. “A new season represents new opportunities for dreams to be realized among teams and by their fans watching at home. We’re proud to play a role in bringing the realization of these dreams to life.”

This is the third year in a row that the gaming PC and accessories manufacturer has been an LEC partner. Starting in 2019, Alienware has provided European League of Legends teams with high-performance desktops and displays. This year, the analyst desk will also be getting some high-tech treatment from Alienware in the form of their own Alienware Aurora Battlestation.

“This will showcase mechanical segments on broadcast as you’ve never seen them before,” the LEC stated in a press release.

The partnership isn’t all about the equipment, however. As part of the partnership, Alienware will present the Match of the Week segment once again. According to the LEC, this highlights some of the player journeys and most intense rivalries of each season.

“In 2020, Match of the Week brought fans up close and personal with some of the most influential players in the league, showcasing the best talent that EU had to offer, with explosive match previews featuring exclusive comments from players and casters,” the LEC stated.

According to the press release, Germany will also be getting exclusive Match of the Week content.

“The additional Match Of The Week content brought to German LEC fans is a token of the brand’s commitment to elevating LEC local fandoms, and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our relationship,” Alban Dechelotte, head of sponsorships and new business EU esports at Riot Games, said.

With Alienware’s return, LEC players will have some of the top PC technology at their fingertips throughout the upcoming season. The LEC returns on January 22, with G2 Esports facing off against MAD Lions.

What teams are playing in the LEC 2021?

The LEC features the top 10 teams from Europe. The first day of competition will showcase all 10 of those teams competing against one another to prove how successful their new rosters are after a crazy off-season.

The first day of the 2021 LEC Spring Split will include:
