League of Legends fans panic after LS leaves cryptic message

LS League

League of Legends streamer Nick “LS” De Cesare has fans worried after he deactivated his social media.

LS is one of the most popular League of Legends streamers on Twitch. His personality and insightful commentary has even led to a role as a caster for the LCK and a short-lived coaching gig for Cloud9. He is currently a content creator for FlyQuest and often has a full schedule of streaming and content.

LS’ packed career has also led to a lot of stress, however. In the past, he has been open about his mental health struggles while attempting to stream full-time. His candid discussion impressed many people, and he gained a lot of support.

“In general, I’m actually really stressed,” he said in an interview three years ago. “For the last four-and-a-half weeks, I’ve had 100 to 110-hour work weeks. It’s been pretty sick.”

But this time around, LS hasn’t been as open.

Why did LS leave social media?

LS left a confusing message on his Instagram story before deactivating multiple social media accounts. The story was just a black screen with audio that said: “I genuinely wish things could be different.”

His shaky, sad voice and the ominous nature of the message — followed by his deactivated social media accounts — had fans scared.

As the League of Legends community continued to panic over LS’ well-being, someone close to the streamer recently reassured everyone that he’s “just stressed about a few things.” His manager has also stated that LS is okay, according to a report from Dexerto.

While this is a relief, some fans are still confused about what led LS to leave so abruptly. So far, LS has been silent about his decision to leave the internet, and it’s unclear when or if he will come back.
