Defending LCK champions KT Rolster announced Gwak “BDD” Bo-seong and No “SnowFlower” Hoi-jong as new members of the team for the upcoming split.

KT Rolster is known for two things: a fierce rivalry with SK Telecom T1 and rosters designed to win championships. The super team conquered the LCK during this past summer but failed to show good results at the 2018 World Championship.

In 2019, the team is changing strategies with new members after releasing five players. Lee “Rush” Yoon-jae, Heo “PawN” Won-seok, Son “Ucal ” Woo-hyeon, Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu, and Cho “Mata” Se-hyeong all parted ways with the team after ending their contracts in November.

The organization renewed contracts with Song “Smeb” Kyung-ho and Go “Score” Dong-bin, and announced BDD and SnowFlower as part of the new starting roster.

Young prodigy BDD joined KINGZONE DragonX in 2016 and became the star of the team in no time. Despite great synergy and outstanding performance from the players, the team failed to find international success. The organization tried to negotiate a new contract with BDD, but the player decided to leave and join KT Rolster.

SnowFlower is returning to the LCK after a year in Turkey competing with SuperMassive eSports. The team finished first in summer at the TCL but fortune was not in their favor at the World Championship. SnowFlower previously played with Jin Air Green Wings and Afreeca Freecs in Korea.

KT Rolster isn’t done yet, as the team is still in the market for a bot laner. Experienced players for that position became scarce after Ha “Kramer” Jong-hun and Bae “Bang” Jun-sik left Korea, and Kim “PraY” Jong-in announced he would be taking time off. Fans are waiting for the final piece of the KT Rolster puzzle.
