The fight was for second place was had between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia. Saudi Arabia surprised the competition with strong performances in the middle lane and jungle, allowing the Saudi side to win two matches and secure second place in the standings.

The action resumes on day two when the teams compete in the final part of the group stage, followed by the semifinals. Two remaining finalists will compete on day three to determine which team will be taking the gold medal home.
