Despite all odds, Kai Cenat has beat Elden Ring: Shadow of Erdtree.

Known more for his IRL streams and celebrity hangouts, Kai Cenat broke viewership records back in May when he did an Elden Ring streaming marathon. When the DLC came out, Cenat said he’d be doing another marathon, estimating that it would be over 100 hours.

Kai Cenat took down the final boss at around 99 hours, which is an incredible feat since Elden Ring is a difficult game to beat in 2024.

Kai Cenat beats Shadow of Erdtree in 99 hours

Fans tuned in for almost 100 hours just to watch Kai Cenat play Shadow of Erdtree. The DLC has been making waves for being considered “too hard” by casual gamers and streamers alike.

At the time, Cenat told haters to “put on their big boy pants” and keep trying. He admitted he wasn’t good at the game but that it’s more about pushing yourself to get through the challenge.

The toughest part for Cenat was the final boss. He reached this fight at around 50 hours but it took him basically another 50 hours to beat him. The repetitive and over-the-top boss fights are what had many players quitting and giving the DLC bad reviews — but Cenat was not going to give up. He even brought a therapist to his stream to help him deal with it.

Over 200,000 fans watched Kai Cenat fight the final boss. The stream ended on June 25 just short of 100 hours.

“We did not f—ing quit,” Cenat announced.

To celebrate, he then sang “We are the Champions” along with his friends. It’s unclear if Cenat will take on more games in the future or if he’s feeling wiped out.
