The popular League of Legends virtual pop group will continue its return with a complete EP that includes more new songs and special features. The EP was teased when the group returned with its latest song THE BADDEST in August. The EP will be an extension of that single, but it’s still unknown how many songs it will include.Â
One thing that fans know for sure is that one of the songs will be presented during the 2020 League of Legends World Championship. The performance will feature Seraphine, who is rumored to be one of the next champions for League of Legends. The performance might coincide with the official release of Seraphine to the game, but nothing is set in stone yet.Â
The announcement on social media also included the cover for the upcoming EP, showing the four champions in their newest outfits. Fans have speculated that the outfits are likely to be new in-game skins that will be released along with the new songs.Â
K/DA consists of the four League of Legends champions Akali, Evelynn, Ahir, and Kai’Sa. The champions are voiced by two of the biggest k-pop idols Jeon So-yeon and Cho Mi-yeon. The two Korean k-pop stars were originally joined by Madison Beer and Jaira Burns, but for this year’s return, the two have been replaced with Bea Miller and Wolftyla.Â
The debut single POP/STARS was a smashing success for Riot Games. Though the company’s musical numbers are often popular, POP/STARS exploded and accrued hundreds of millions of views on YouTube and posted strong sales on digital music storefronts.
