Toxic Valorant players have found a new way to grief in ranked games, and an angry Jett main has figured out another way to do so.

Riot Games’ restriction on the four-person queue is proof that toxicity in Valorant is at an all-time high in 2021. Jett players are now exploiting a new bug to doom teammates in competitive games. Using Jett’s dash, players are sticking Spike to unreachable angles on Icebox to troll in high-stake games.

Valorant is still relatively new, but it has its fair share of bugs and glitches. While few are game-breaking, most bugs are negligible. This new map issue belongs to the latter category, but toxic Valorant players have found a way to use it to their advantage.

Not all Valorant agents have movement tricks like Jett. She can dash onto high towers and buildings that are theoretically meant to outplay enemies. However, some Jett mains are exploiting her kit to leave Spike in areas where it’s completely irretrievable. Glitched Icebox walls can carry the Spike for an entire round if an agent accurately throws it over.

Jett’s dash allows her to reach the high area, which doesn’t benefit her team but certainly presents an opportunity for trolls. Once the Spike gets placed and stays there, no other agent can get there to retrieve it and neither can Jett herself. Raze might be able to get it back using her satchels but otherwise, the spike is as good as gone after a Jett leaves it there.

Serious Valorant players are frustrated with the exploit and the increasing number of griefers that squeeze the fun out of a ranked game. The game is already littered with smurfs and toxic players, and such glitches only encourage trolls. The developer might fix this bug sooner as it has made it clear that the game has no place for bullies by banning four-stacks.

What ranks can play Valorant together?

In order to combat smurfs, the developer has gone the extra mile, allowing five stacks for the first time. All Valorant ranks can now play in one lobby.

Previously, a rank disparity restricted Diamond players from entering Silver and Gold lobbies, but this will change. Five stacks will see an increased queue time when they play together in Valorant, which has been a common problem in the first-person shooter.
