Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has a new release date to ensure that the game is “Respawn quality.”
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is one of the highly anticipated games of 2023. It’s not surprising since it will let fans follow the troubled journey of Cal Kestis. Until today, the game was only one and a half months away from release. Now, the developer has announced a delay in production.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is no longer launching on March 17. EA said it will now release on April 28 to ensure quality.
EA’s latest Star Wars-related post includes good and bad news. The good news is that the game is content-complete, meaning the storyline, visuals, and gameplay are all good. But it’s still not ready to hit the online stores. Respawn Entertainment has added six more weeks to development to deal with bugs, final tweaks, and create a better the player experience.
“We are now focused entirely on the final stage: bug fixes to enhance performance, stability, polish, and most importantly, the player experience. In order for the team to hit the Respawn quality bar, provide the team the time they need, and achieve the level of polish our fans deserve, we have added six crucial weeks to our release schedule,” EA said.
Fallen Order wasn’t clean of minor bugs and issues. Players brought up several problems with the game, which eventually became the reason behind Fallen Order not being as popular as it should have been. But Jedi: Survivor is already creating incredible hype, so it makes sense that Respawn wants to do it right this time.
After a wait of six more weeks, players will be able to continue Cal’s journey alongside his tiny BD-1 droid. From the trailer, the game seemed promising, and “Respawn quality” only spells excellent things.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has clean visuals meant to bring an immersive gaming experience. And while the game requires an optimal PC, low-end computers may also be able to run it. These are the minimum system requirements to play Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
