Is Amouranth leaving Twitch for Kick?

Twitch star Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa has become one of the most controversial figures on the streaming platform thanks to her suggestive streams and career on OnlyFans. As Twitch continues to stiffen its regulations and guidelines, will Amouranth eventually leave for Kick?

Kick has become the next Twitch competitor. Promoted by Tyler “Trainwrecks” Niknam, Kick has boasted a 95/5 sub split and has promised to not be as strict with their guidelines, especially when it comes to gambling. Some streamers have even gotten away with showing porn. With so much leniency, would an often-banned streamer like Amouranth benefit from making the move?

Amouranth gives thoughts on Kick versus Twitch

In an episode of Essentially Sports, Amouranth discussed the probability of her moving to Kick in the future. She admitted that she would “give it a try” for “a certain amount of money” but said she didn’t want to exclusively stream there.

“Their reputation is risky,” she explained.

While Kick has been appealing to more controversial streamers like Kai Cenat and Corinna Kopf, Amouranth is a bit hesitant thanks to all of the drama that’s been going down on the under-regulated streaming platform. Her biggest concern is losing the ability to stream on Twitch.

She said: “If you are gonna branch on other platforms, you can never s— on the one you’re still planning to be on, because that will get you banned. That’s kinda what I’m worried about too. If I were to join Kick, would Twitch find easier ways to justify banning me?”

For now, it seems like Amouranth is contemplating the possibility of moving to Kick but is sitting back and watching what happens for now. Kick was just founded in October of 2022 and still has a long way to go when it comes to smoothing out its policies and adding more features.
