indiefoxx may have just received a permanent ban on Twitch

Twitch may have just washed its hands of one of the most infamous streamers under its umbrella.

Jenelle “indiefoxx” Dagres has possibly been given a permanent ban from Twitch. The news comes a few days after she received her sixth ban under vague circumstances.

indiefoxx’s Twitch account has been stripped of its partner and affiliate status, effectively preventing her from monetizing her channel in any way. Twitch deactivating partner and affiliate status is typically seen with permanent bans from the platform, as was the case with Guy “Dr Disrespect” Beahm. It is uncertain that this is the case as neither Twitch nor indiefoxx have commented on the matter as of this writing.

There is a possibility that this isn’t a permanent ban as Twitch has previously shown a willingness to remove monetization privileges from streamers who have drummed up controversy. The biggest example of this so far was Steven “Destiny” Bonnell, who lost his partner status after advocating for violence against racial justice protesters.

indiefoxx banned six times in six months

The banishment of indiefoxx is somewhat surprising because Twitch has given her so many chances, but it’s not especially surprising because she has been such a lightning rod for controversy. indiefoxx has been a steady source of controversy since joining the platform earlier this year, and became infamous after being banned three times within one month.

While that would have traditionally led to a permanent ban, Twitch inexplicably let her continue on streaming. This left many frustrated as she faced lesser punishments for what was perceived were greater infractions than many other streamers.

Instead of counting her blessings and being on her best behavior, indiefoxx continued to push the envelope by creating sexually suggestive content. Probable reasons for her previous bans include wearing a revealing swimsuit during a hot tub stream, attempting to sell certain features or services, and farting into a microphone at the request of donors.

Whether this is indeed a permanent ban for indiefoxx remains to be seen. She will likely make a statement on the matter in the future. She continues to maintain a presence on OnlyFans, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
