After getting all but humiliated in a livestream debate with Ethan Klein, Felix “xQc” Lengyel has now threatened to expose a lot of the haters that have jumped at his throat for making bank on reaction videos.

React-gate has become the biggest controversy in the streaming world over the past month, with big streamers getting called out for “lazy” content that doesn’t transform the clips they are reacting to. Many have been accused of stealing these clips as well and not giving credit or compensation to the original creators.

This led Klein to debate xQc on stream, which left many people siding with the H3H3 Podcast host over the Juicer. During the debate, Klein accused xQc of stealing content for his own gain and having no intention of paying content creators unless they make the effort to call him out, like Vince Vintage.

Now, xQc has plans to expose his haters.

xQc starts Twitter war with haters over react-gate

On August 9, xQc tweeted that he was going to “leak” some stuff in an attempt to clear things up and tell fans what’s “actually going on.” He added that there are “too many lies” floating around about him.

In a follow-up post, xQc called out Vince Vintage, the content creator who initially started react-gate by calling out xQc for using his content without permission. In the tweet, xQc accused Vince of “praising” Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo for doing the “exact thing” as xQc but then “flips on me.”

In the same tweet, xQc shared screenshots of Vince applauding a react video from Mizkif. He then showed a DM that showed his editor offering Vince Vintage compensation or to take down the video that included his clip. Vince then responded that he was hoping to get compensation.

xQc then explained that Vince publicly claimed he never offered to compensate him or anyone else despite his editor reaching out days ago.

“Thought I’d stay silent and let the storm pass but, everyone that jumped on the bandwagon and is currently spreading lies, I’m coming for you,” xQc tweeted.

It’s unclear what other leaks and accusations xQc plans to bring up in a livestream or on social media. But for now, it’s certain that he’s had enough of people bashing him for reaction content.

In earlier tweets, xQc admitted to not having smiled in quite some time. He accused haters and followers alike of reacting negatively to everything he tries to do in an attempt to be happy, including moving to Las Vegas. xQc has clearly been going through a lot between the Adept divorce and the backlash to his reaction videos, and he may have reached a breaking point.
