How to unlock free Fortnite Mile Morales items
Spiderman has returned to Fortnite, and this time Miles Morales is taking center stage, here’s how to unlock the free Fortnite Miles Morales items.
The free Fortnite Miles Morales and Spiderman 2099 rewards are available through the Web Battles event. The Web Battles event is a registration-only event that you have to log into in order to participate. Ahead of the new Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse movie, it follows the loose plot of Miguel O’Hara, Spider-Man 2099, pursuing Miles Morales. Upon logging in, players will be asked to pick Team Miles or Team 2099, and each time will earn points to compete.
Fortnite Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2099 rewards
When players select their team, this will affect which rewards they receive. Each player will receive one spray, one emoticon depending on what team they selected, and an emote. All of these are locked behind quests.
- Log in to the Web Battles website: Spidey 2099 Logo Spray
- Choose a team in the Web Battles Website: Miguel’s Glare Emoticon for Team 2099 players, Shocked Miles Emoticon for Team Miles players.
- Earn 40 points for your Web Battles Team: Spider Ham’s Mallet Harvesting Tool, including a Put ‘Er There emote only useable with the mallet.
Every day, Team Miles and Team 2099 will compete for points via a daily challenge. Team Miles has been sweeping the challenges by a landslide, so sign up there if you want to win. These rewards don’t include the Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2099 skins that will appear in the Item Store. Those skins are only available for purchase with V-Bucks, Fortnite’s premium currency. The event will last until May 24, 2020. The paid skins may last longer than the Web Battles event, but it’s safer to pick them up sooner rather than later in order to make sure you get them.
