The Wanderer is the newest character in Genshin Impact. Also known as Scaramouche, he is a five-star Anemo that joins the roster in update 3.3.  This guide will teach you how to quickly farm up Scaramouche ascension materials.

Scaramouche is a former Fatui that is on a new path. Genshin Impact announced that Scaramouche would become a playable character after update 3.3. It is a solid character that is worth investing time in but requires four ascension materials.

Scaramouche ascension materials are common and can be used by other characters. These materials are usually found in the Sumeru region, located to the West.

What are the Scaramouche ascension materials?

To reach the sixth Ascension phase, Scaramouche needs four different materials. The first material is Vaydua Turquoise in fragments, slivers, chunks, and gemstones. Fighting the normal boss grants Vaydua Turquoise, smaller pieces can be used to craft the rarer pieces.

Rukkhashava Mushrooms are found in the wild, particularly around the Lokapala Jungle and the Ashavan Realm. Players will need over 150 Rukkshava Mushrooms to complete the Ascension. The Rukkshava Mushrooms are also up for sale in Gandharva Ville.

Perpetual Caliber is dropped by an Aeonblight Drake level 30 or above. You can encounter it inside a cave in Devantaka Mountain. Scaramouche requires 46 Perpetual Caliber to get to the sixth Ascension phase.

Old Handguard, Famed Hanguard, and Kageuchi Hanguard are the final items needed, these can be found by defeating Nobushi and Kairagi enemies. Like the Vaydua Turquoise, more common pieces can be used in combination with Mora to craft rarer pieces.

Gathering all of these materials and leveling Scaramouche up will take some time but it will be worth the effort. As the first DPS Anemo character to be added to the game since update 1.3, many are predicting that Scaramouche could potentially become one of the strongest characters in the game.
