How to make Puffy Snowmen in Genshin Impact 2.3
Learning how to make Puffy Snowmen is a great distraction from the fact that Albedo is probably going to turn into a villain.
The new Genshin Impact 2.3 event Shadows Amidst Snowstorms has tons of free Primogems and quest content to enjoy. On day one, players get to fly across the mountaintops and scavenge frozen loot to find all sorts of treasure. The intro quest also introduces a mysterious doppelganger of Albedo who could turn into a new boss fight.
To get the most out of Shadows Amidst Snowstorms, you’ll need to craft Puffy Snowmen to decorate the Dragonspine base camp. Here’s how to assemble frosty friends and earn rewards in Genshin Impact 2.3.
Making Puffy Snowmen isn’t hard
First, you’ll need to head towards the Adventurer’s Guild base camp near Dragonspine. The exact location is marked on your map with a monochrome snowman icon. Remember that you must place all the base body parts before adding any accessories. If you don’t have the necessary materials, be sure to complete the Dragonspine Special Training missions available through the events tab.
The Genshin Impact rewards for building Puffy Snowmen are in the Born of the Snow section of the Shadows Amidst Snowstorms event tab. The first Puffy Snowman will award 20,000 Mora and the new four-star event weapon Cinnabar Spindle. That new sword is a perfect compliment to Albedo, whose five-star limited banner is running concurrently with Eula. Even if you don’t pull for Monstadt’s chief alchemist, it’s still a great weapon to have in your inventory.
How to refine Cinnabar Spindle
The reward for creating your first Puffy Snowmen is the new four-star weapon Cinnabar Spindle. The sword grants a defense bonus and boosts elemental skill by 40% of defense at level one. That massive damage boost can be improved to 80% by refining Cinnabar Spindle to level five, but you can’t refine it the usual way by consuming duplicate weapons.
To refine Cinnabar Spindle, you will need to use a special material called Alkahest. There are two Alkahest available in the Shadows Amidst Snowstorms event shop for 400 Snowstrider Emblems. Those will get your Cinnabar Spindle up to refinement three. The final two Alkahest should become available in the third and final event questline available November 30.
