Pokemon GO brings the Pokemon experience to the real world. Players have to complete the Pokedex, fight in Gyms, and participate in raids. There are over 1,000 Pokemon, and 66 of them are considered Legendary Pokemon, with 50 available in Pokemon. Here is how to get all Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon GO.
These are as rare in Pokemon GO as they are in a regular main game. Every month one is featured as the level-five Raid Boss. To successfully complete these raids, the party must consist of at least four players over level 40.
On some special occasions, four Legendary Pokemon can be level-five Raid Bosses. Even if four Legendary were featured every month, that would mean 48 of the 50 available in the game can be caught.
Raids are not the only way to find these rare Pokemon, but it is the safest one. Meaning that you know exactly what Legendary you are getting and when. Some Legendary can be found in the wild with chances of encounters lower than 0.005%, while others are regionally locked and are only available in specific countries. Catching all the Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon GO might take a while.
The first option is level five Raid Battles. As we already established, these will feature between one and four Legendary Pokemon. These are the Legendary that has been featured already and could return in 2023:
Some Pokemon can be found in the wild using the Daily Adventure Incense. It means that players have 15 minutes to cover as much terrain as possible:
Other can be found in the wild but are regionally restricted:
The rarest Legendary can only be found through a special event that took place in October of 2022. These could come to regular raids in 2023:
All Legendary from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will become available in 2023 when the game gets linked to Pokemon GO.
