How to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna in Pokemon Legends
How to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna in Pokemon Legends: Arceus
Many new evolutions to familiar Pokemon are present in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, but how do you evolve an Ursaring into an Ursaluna?
Ursaluna is one of the more
prominent additions to the Pokemon roster. The new bear Pokemon serves as another ride Pokemon and replaces the item finder, similar to the
rideable Stoutland
in Pokemon Sun and Moon.
But as with Sun and Moon’s rideable Pokemon, the ones the trainer mounts aren’t actually the same as the Pokemon in their party. The player will have to jump through a few hoops in order to get themselves an Ursaluna, but it’s not too difficult to pull off. Here’s how to evolve Ursaring to Ursaluna in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
How to evolve Ursaring in Pokemon Legends: Arceus
To get an Ursaluna in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, players need to evolve an Ursaring using a Peat Block under a full moon.
Peat Blocks function in the same way as a Fire Stone, Chipped Pot, or any other evolution item. There is a catch when it comes to evolving Ursaring to Ursaluna, though. Players specifically need to use the Peat Block on the night of a full moon,.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus uses a standard moon cycle that starts with a crescent, becomes full, then turns into a crescent in the opposing direction. This has various effects in terms of which spawns and battles are available. The player can effectively control what phase the moon is in by visiting camps.
To get a full moon, just repeatedly sleep at a camp. Eventually, the moon will become full and the Peat Block can be used to evolve Ursaring.
How to get Peat Blocks for Ursaluna in Pokemon Legends: Arceus
Players can obtain Peat Blocks in Pokemon Legends: Arceus by digging around with Ursaluna in the Crimson Mirelands.
The rideable Ursaluna is used as an Item Finder and is used to dig up treasures. These items vary by location, but a number of different evolution items can be found by digging them up with Ursaluna.
Players just need to travel to the Crimson Mirelands after getting the Ursaluna ride Pokemon. Peat Blocks are obtained randomly, so all players can do is acquire it is to start hunting and keep their fingers crossed.
