How to claim the LoL January Prime Gaming rewards
Prime Gaming‘s monthly rewards for League of Legends players have come around yet again, with free skins, Riot Points, and more for those that have an Amazon Prime account.
Here’s what January’s Prime Gaming rewards will get you and how to claim them to ring in the new year with some new cosmetics.
January Prime Gaming rewards
January’s Prime Gaming rewards include 650 Riot Points, one 1350 Riot Point Skin Permanent, 200 Orange Essence, five Champion Shards, two Series 1 Eternals Shards, and a 30-day experience boost.
The Riot Points are especially useful when the client has My Shop, granting skins for champions played recently at a reduced price. In addition, starting players’ collections are especially accelerated by the experience boost and Champion Shards.’

The Prime Gaming Capsule that releases every month tends to offer a variety of in-game currencies and items that boost players’ collections. These tend to include Riot Points, skin options, free champions, and other rewards to bolster your collection.
As long as you already have an Amazon Prime account, you can link your Riot Account to your Amazon Prime account on the Prime Gaming website. From there you can claim your rewards on the Prime Gaming site each month before collecting those prizes in the League of Legends client afterwards. These rewards will appear in your Collection tab as a Prime Gaming Capsule that will grant a set list of rewards each month.
When do the rewards expire?
The January Prime Gaming rewards for League of Legends will be redeemable from December 30, 2021 to January 27, 2022. After that, another set of cosmetics and currencies will become available. The monthly rewards add up quickly, and players can end up picking up almost any skin after a few months of collecting the free Riot Points.
