How to claim Genshin Impact’s PlayStation Awards December rewards
Genshin Impact players will get free Primogem rewards in December thanks to the game’s success.
At the PlayStation Partner Awards 2021, Genshin Impact earned the PlayStation Partner Grand Award for success in 2021, as well as runner-up honors for music. To celebrate, miHoYo has announced free player rewards from December 4 to 7. The rewards include 800 Primogems distributed over four days. Players on all platforms, including PlayStation, can claim their free pulls.
Genshin Impact’s December rewards are easier to claim than the usual codes. Instead of logging in through miHoYo Lab, players get the rewards delivered directly to their inboxes. Each day, players will receive 200 Primogems for a total of 800. That means five free pulls just for logging in four days in a row.
To claim yours, simply open up your in-game inbox and claim them as soon as you see them. There’s no need to go through the usual code submission process as is typically the case with stream codes or Twitch Prime loot.
Despite being related to the PlayStation Awards, Genshin Impact players can claim December rewards on any platform. Mobile and PC players enjoy the same bundle of five free pulls. The messages should be distributed during the daily server reset at 3 am CST.
Genshin Impact wins Grand Award at PlayStation Awards
The PlayStation Partners Awards are Sony’s method of congratulating developers for achievements in gaming. The Grand Award represents the three most-successful games in terms of aesthetics, popularity, and financial success. Genshin Impact received the Grand Award alongside Resident Evil Village and eFootball PES 2021. Considering Genshin Impact’s tremendous financial success, the game has probably made a lot of money for Sony and it’s no surprise that it would be so honored.
In addition to the Grand Award, Genshin Impact also earned the first runner-up slot for the PlayStation Game Music Award. Composer Yu-Peng Chen is likely pleased by the recognition. There are no in-game gifts planned for this reward specifically, but players can always enjoy the background music across the many regions of Teyvat that brought about the honor.
