How to answer IKEA The Co-Worker Game questions
IKEA announced a game that will pay 10 lucky gamers to work at a pixel version of the Swedish furniture store recreated in Roblox. Want to be one of the lucky retail workers? You’ll need to answer the co-worker game questions.
In The Co-Worker Game, you’ll be tasked with essentially managing a certain section of a virtual IKEA store, helping customers find products, and growing in your role for a chance at a promotion. Yeah, it’s basically just a job. But a lot of people are intrigued by the opportunity to earn money in Roblox.
To get the job, you’ll need to do the usual: Send in a resume, fill out an application, and then take part in virtual interviews if you end up standing out. You currently have until June 16th to apply!
Co-worker game questions in IKEA Roblox store explained
When you fill out the application for The Co-Worker Game, you will find the usual. You need to give your full name, contact information, and social media handles. But some applicants have been thrown off by the top three questions.
Here are all the co-worker game questions in IKEA:
- How do you feel about being turned into pixels?
- If you were a pixelated IKEA furniture, which one would you be and why?
- What would you do if we ran out of pixelated hotdogs in our bistro?
There are no right or wrong answers to the IKEA Roblox store questions. Instead, these questions are meant to show off your personality and how you think. They’re objective so every answer is technically right if it’s from the heart.
For the first question, try answering about your excitement at this unique experience. Tell interviewers how it would positively add to your life and what you’d hope to gain from working at their virtual store. Maybe make some jokes about what being pixelated means to you.
The second question is meant to challenge your creativity and show off your imagination. Pick an obscure piece of furniture to show your knowledge for IKEA’s brand and offerings. Then, explain how it matches your personality, interests, or hobbies. For example, maybe a certain couch is perfect for friends to gather and play co-op games on. Or maybe a lamp is great at spotlighting important things, just like how you’d be as a retail worker.
The third question is a problem solver that will show how you handle issues at work. Share constructive and calm ways that you’d deal with the dilemma, like offering different products to customers. Or maybe take the funny route and claim you’d run to the IKEA headquarters to get hotdogs or challenge customers to a mini-game to see if they’re worthy of getting the final hotdog.
