Imagine fighting against your favorite villain or superhero with the help of some of the most influential characters in fiction. All of this is possible in MultiVersus, which pits iconic heroes and villains against each other in a fight for supremacy. The game isn’t here yet, and fans are already excited to see Superman, Shaggy, and Steven Universe share a screen.Â
MultiVersus has announced the date for its closed alpha, which will allow players to test out the game in its early stages. Before then, players may want to prepare to lock horns with the most random characters in this crossover brawler. But is your favorite character in the MultiVersus mix? The first official trailer for MultiVersus showcased Buggs Bunny, Shaggy, Superman, Batman, Harley Quinn, and more engaging in intense two-on-two fights. But more characters will be playable in the game.Â

Players can pick their hero based on their tools and specialties to gain an edge over the enemies. The developers have promised that more personalities will be added once the game is out of beta. Apart from that, MultiVersus will also have upcoming content-filled seasons for players to enjoy.
MultiVersus is a free-to-play game with in-game purchases.Â
It is currently uncertain how much DLC will cost but it seems as though there will be a battle pass system that allows players to unlock limited-edition content on a timed basis. That functionality won’t be a part of the closed alpha but will likely be detailed before the game’s release.
