Fortnite has returned to Apple stores in Europe and all mobile devices worldwide, rewarding a free Katalina Outfit to full-time grinders. Here’s how to get the free Katalina Outfit in Fortnite.

In Chapter 1, Fortnite was playable on Apple devices but was soon removed. Now, the Epic Games store has formally entered the mobile gaming market, bringing Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket Leagues to all devices. However, Apple users can only play the game in Europe, whereas Android users can play Epic Games titles anywhere.

The return of Fortnite to Apple is marked with a free in-game item. Here’s how all mobile users can get it.

How to get Katalina Outfit in Fortnite

Those playing Fortnite on mobile will be eligible to collect a free Katalina Outfit by gaining a certain amount of XP from August 16, 2024, to the v32.00 update releasing in November.

Players have a total of three months to gain 100,000 XP by completing quests, which would then unlock the rare skin. But, the offer doesn’t include only the Katalina Outfit. You’ll keep getting smaller rewards to motivate you towards the 100,000 XP mark.

The bubblegum pink items are already making waves among Fortnite players who are eager to collect the skin. The offer runs until November and is only available for mobile players.

Why can’t I download the Epic Games Store on iPhone?

Epic Games store is currently unavailable on iPhones outside of Europe. Those within Europe must have an iOS 17.6 or higher.

On Epic Games’ blog site, the developer revealed that Fortnite and Epic Games Store are currently unavailable for iPhones outside of Europe due to legal reasons.

“We’re launching on iOS devices in the European Union thanks to the Digital Markets Act, but Apple is still blocking all other iOS users outside of Europe from accessing Fortnite and Epic Games Store for iOS,” Epic Games said.

Rest assured, the application will become available once the final kinks have been ironed out. Until then, Android users can comfortably enjoy the three titles wherever they are.
