It’s been a rollercoaster of an off-season for the Overwatch League and there’s a lot of notable moves to catch up on.

The most recent shakeup saw the Boston Uprising sign DPS Tae-hui “Jerry” Min from Meta Athena and Sang-min “Myunbong” Seo after dropping a slew of players and staff members. The Los Angeles Valiant have cut the majority of their team, leaving just support player Scott “Custa” Kennedy. They’ve also signed a promising head coach, Chris “Dream” Myrick.

The Philadelphia Fusion have made a few confusing moves, devastating fans with the releases of Alberto “Neptuno” Gonzalez Molinillo, Elijah Hudson “Elk” Gallagher, and Josh “Eqo” Corona, as well as the recent trade of Finley “Kyb” Adisi. Lee “Carpe” Jae-Hyeok has re-signed with the team for a whopping three years and reports have been circulating that Daniel “FunnyAstro” Hathaway will be joining the team as well.

The Houston Outlaws have added the services of coach Harsha Bandi, and they’ve also obtained João Pedro “Hydration” Goes Telles and Jeffery “blasé” Tsang.

Arguably the biggest names to change teams are Joon-yeong “Profit” Park and Jae-hee “Gesture” Hong, two of the London Spitfire’s core team who helped them to victory in the inaugural season. Soon after their goodbyes with the Spitfire, they signed with the Seoul Dynasty. Korean fans are hoping the sole franchise in the country can finally begin living up to expectations.

Another major player that was transferred is Indy “SPACE” Halpern. He moves from the Los Angeles Valiant to the Los Angeles Gladiators, and is one of the best off-tanks in the league.

As far as the Season two champions, so far they’ve only let go of one player. Andreas “Nevix” Karlsson has been released and has been linked with the Toronto Defiant. The Defiant has so far announced the signing of Young-seo “KariV” Park and re-signing of Andreas “Logix” Berghmans for the 2020 season.

The 2020 season starts in February where each team will be participating in games at their home venues.
