Here are the allegations against Tectone and his response
John “Tectone” Robertson is pushing back against apparent allegations of sexual and emotional abuse from his former girlfriend, cosplayer Pinkchyu.
Tectone, by his own admission, is a streamer who seeks drama. If it pops up naturally, he’ll try to attach himself to it, as seen with the ban of Frogan. If there isn’t anything happening, he’ll invent it, as seen when he made a series of anti-LGBT comments to defend a content creator against a backlash that wasn’t actually happening.
Things have gone a few steps past “drama,” though. Pinkchyu, who was romantically linked to Tectone for roughly a year, made a series of posts regarding an abusive relationship.
What are the allegations against Tectone?
Tectone’s ex-girlfriend made a series of social media posts discussing an abusive past relationship.
Speaking on an X account, she discussed an “abusive” partner who “totally crushed” her self-worth. She described being forced to perform sexual acts and being told that sexually performing was her “job.” She also states exes of her partner told her that they had faced similar abuse.
Pinkchyu did not specifically name her abuser. Across the thread and in accompanying replies and posts, she states that the former partner was a notable streamer who she had lived with. Tectone himself made it clear that the allegations were about him when he issued multiple angry responses across his social media channels.
Tectone threatens to sue former girlfriend Pinkchyu
Tectone stated that Pinkchyu was lying about any abuse and threatened to take legal action.
His first statement came on his Twitch channel, where he blasted Pinkchyu for not being appreciative of him.
“I did everything for you. I helped you with everything. I fixed everything for you. I was there for you like nobody else was there for you in your whole life, your words not mine,” Tectone said.
Tectone went on to suggest that some unspecified individuals “got into [Pinkchyu’s] ear” and had her “believing bulls—” and made her “imagine” any abuse. He says that he is under a non-disclosure agreement regarding these individuals, which led many to believe that he was referencing his ex-wife.
He followed this up with a lengthy post on X.
“Out of respect for our previous relationship, I will give Pinkchyu two weeks to apologize for these statements and acknowledge that they are false and inaccurate. If this does not happen, I will pursue legal action against Pinkchyu and those who knowingly repeat her lies with a reckless disregard for the truth,” Tectone said.
The allegations by Tectone’s ex-girlfriend add to what has already been an ugly stretch for the OTK Network of streamers. A number of current and former members of the team have been accused of either committing or permitting instances of sexual assault, including founders Matthew “Mizkif” Renaudo and Rich Campbell.
