Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions gameplay trailer

Harry Potter Quidditch

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will work the same way as the sports in the books and movies. Players will be tasked with earning the most points to win a game. This could be done by playing as Beater, Chaser, Keeper, or Seeker.

Since there are Beaters, our guess is that the game may have Bludgers as well, which would try to through you off your quest. Like the movies, Chasers must score points by tossing the Quaffle through the hoops, whereas Seekers must snatch the golden snitch and earn bonus points. As you progress through tasks, you can compete in bigger stadiums.

There are two modes announced so far: solo career and online mode. The solo career mode will include different championships based on the player level. Conversely, the online mode will allow players to team up with friends and compete in the Quidditch World Cup.

Both modes can be played as popular Harry Potter characters like Cho Chang, Ron Weasley, Draco Malfoy, and Harry Potter himself. Alternatively, players can design their own unique models and customize their clothing.

Harry Potter Quidditch game release date

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be released on September 3 on Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Players will be able to grab their copies on the day of the release by pre-ordering the game. Pre-orders for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions begin on July 29.
