It’s no secret that Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming but developers have been largely silent about the long-awaited sequel to the popular role playing game.
Grand Theft Auto 6 was announced a while ago but not much has been confirmed about the game aside from the protagonists and location. There have been some infamous leaks but fans have been awaiting Rockstar Games’ official information. Finally, something is coming.
Maybe.
According to a source close to Bloomberg, the game will be officially revealed this week and a teaser trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming soon. Journalist Jason Schrier wrote that it should be coming in December of this year.
Rockstar Games is celebrating its 25th anniversary in December so this lines up. The Game Awards are also in December so it’s possible we could see the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer as soon as December 7. If so, this would be the first official look at the game.
There is no official confirmation from Rockstar that the teaser is coming in December but there’s no denying that fans are not patient anymore. Aside from the leak there has been no real information about Grand Theft Auto 6 from developers.
Anxious fans recently started reading into a post from Rockstar promoting Grand Theft Auto V. But the letters are obscured so only VI was showing on the left, leaving fans believing some news about GTA6 was on the way.
Unfortunately nothing happened.
Will this be another let down? For now, only time will tell.
