Indian organization Global Esports is expected to explore replacement options for Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar, WIN.gg was informed by the organization.

The player, who has been signed to the team since October 2020, will be allowed to explore his options. SkRossi has been a staple of the organization’s history in Valorant and developed a sizable following.

Global Esports will likely search the Pacific region for a replacement, but this remains speculation.

Teams in each partnered league are unable to sign new players to the Valorant rosters until next month. As a result, the roster offseason will likely commence within the next few weeks across all major regions.

Global Esports is looking to strengthen its roster

Indian organization Global Esports was chosen to represent the region by Riot Games, but has failed to reach the highest level in the Pacific region during the first year.

Earlier this year, Global Esports finished in eighth place during the regular season of the VCT Pacific league. Throughout the split, SkRossi finished with a 1.02 overall rating and a respectable 225.5 average combat score, according to VLR.gg.

Since Global Esports failed to secure automatic qualification for Masters, the Indian team had one final attempt to try and get a spot at Champions through the last-chance qualifier.

But Global Esports was unable to win a single map at the event and bombed out in second to last place. Global Esports was defeated by Team Secret and Rex Regum Qeon. SkRossi was the second lowest-rated player at the event according to VLR.gg.

Global Esports is set to compete in the VCT Pacific league once more next year and will face off against some of the best teams the region has to offer.
