A devastating glitch has been uncovered in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC that ruins the final boss fight.
Shadow of Erdtree has become notorious for being super difficult, maybe even too hard to be fun. But this hasn’t stopped thousands of players from grinding the difficult DLC and making it to the final boss. For some, like Kai Cenat, the final boss itself took longer than the rest of the DLC.
Unfortunately, a Reddit user shared an upsetting bug that almost killed the final boss instantly, taking away the challenge completely.
Reddit user Gneurshk recently shared that he reached the final boss only to have a bug cut the fight short. The fight barely began before it cut to Miquella being defeated. What was supposed to be the toughest RPG fight ever turned to an instant win for Gneurshk, who said he was “robbed” of the fight.
According to a comment in the thread, the player had only attempted the fight five times and was still having fun with the challenge.
Said one gamer: “You probably hold the current record for least amount of attempts to beat him then. Congrats.”
Others noted that Shadow of Erdtree had other bugs throughout, including many that involved walls. Some have been thrown through walls while others said you can run through walls and land in “nothingness.” On closer look, this final boss bug is also wall-related, with Radahn getting caught in the wall and then dying.
Developers have not responded to this issue just yet.
