The murderous Millers are returning for two more seasons in Netflix’s breakout hit Ginny and Georgia.
The popular Netflix show featuring the mother-daughter duo of Ginny and Georgia was one of the top TV shows in 2023. Besting the likes of Wednesday, Emily in Paris, and more in terms of viewership, Ginny and Georgia became a fan favorite. After much suspense, Netflix has confirmed that it’s returning.
In January, the show’s co-creator Sarah Lampert revealed that Netflix hadn’t reached out to continue Ginny and Georgia’s story, but it’s all happening now. Taking to social media, Netflix announced that the show has been renewed for seasons 3 and 4.
The short teaser featured the main cast, including Ginny, Georgia, MANG, Mayor Paul, and more, all getting ready to hit the screens for two more seasons. While Netflix has confirmed two seasons, the release date of season 3 is still unknown. The next season may take some time to release, considering the shooting hadn’t begun by January. So, viewers may want to sit tight and wait a few more months to find out how Georgia runs away from the murder charges.
The polar opposite mother-daughter duo spends the second season coming to terms with Georgia’s dark past. However, just when Ginny tries meeting Georgia halfway, the latter gets arrested for a brand new murder charge against Cynthia’s husband Tom.
At the of the second season, her wedding gets interrupted by the police, who are there to take her away. Clearly, it was a big cliffhanger that had everyone on their toes. Fortunately, Netflix has assured us that the next season is coming soon to unveil what exactly happens to Georgia and her daughter Ginny.
It remains to be seen what happens in season 3, but the creators have teased that Millers will be a united front in the next season, so at least it won’t be all dark and no stars.
