The highly anticipated Version 5.1 update of Genshin Impact introduces a new 5-star character, Xilonen, in the teaser titled “The Duty of Name Forging.”
As an expert blacksmith hailing
from Natlan: Xilonen’s mastery of the forge is legendary.
This teaser provides a deeper look into her character and her connection to the age-old duty of name forging.
It showcases her focus and dedication to her craft,
as well as her unique role as both an artisan and a warrior in the Genshin universe.
Xilonen and her reputation as a blacksmith is unmatched across Natlan.
Many travelers and adventurers seek her forges, hoping to commission weapons of the highest caliber.
However, Xilonen remains unfazed by the attention.
For her, the forge is a sacred space, where each hammer strike is a testament to her focus and skill.
The admiration from those around her does little to affect her;
she views herself first and foremost as an artisan.
Additionally, the teaser further reveals that Xilonen values the process of forging above all else. She pays little mind to the titles and honors bestowed upon her.
Her philosophy is clear: only by refining the ore with precision can one craft a weapon that stands the test of time.
For Xilonen,
the duty of forging “Ancient Names” is not just about the weapon itself but the responsibility that comes with it.
Skills and Abilities
First of, Xilonen’s battle prowess complements her role as a skilled blacksmith.
As
a 5-star Geo Sword user,
she provides her team
with valuable support. Her
Elemental Skill, Nightsoul’s Blessing, allows her to reduce the Elemental RES of nearby enemies based on her party’s composition.
Additionally, when attacking,
her Normal and Plunging attacks receive a significant damage boost.
Xilonen abilities don’t stop there;
Her Elemental Burst unleashes AoE Geo damage, providing two powerful options: healing for the active character or dealing additional damage.
In summary,
her versatility makes her an essential addition to any team, combining her support abilities with the potential for increased damage output.
